Position Purpose/Summary: Financial Advisors serve as a trusted partner to clients, offering personalized financial guidance and wealth management solutions to help them purse their financial goals. This role involves conducting comprehensive financial assessments, developing strategies, and implementing plans for clients financial well-being. By leveraging expertise in financial markets, investment products, tax strategies, and estate planning techniques, Financial Advisors deliver exceptional advice and support to clients across various life stages and situations.

**Not a Remote or Hybrid Opportunity. Position is on-site at our Binghamton, NY location. **

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Two (2) years securities experience required.
  • Maintain active licenses and registrations necessary to provide financial services: Series 7, Series 65 or Series 66 and New York State Life and Health Insurance
  • Experience as a Financial Advisor, Financial Planner, or similar role. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and financial planning principles.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport and trust with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive investment advice to clients and Credit Union members. Facilitate educational meetings, cultivate client relationships, and engage in holistic conversations aimed to uncover member/client needs.
  • Required to uphold industry licenses and adhere to all regulatory compliance policies assigned by FINRA, SEC, State Insurance Departments, and Broker Dealer LPL Financial.

Compensation: Salary plus bonus structure.
