Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Program Management Senior to join Domain Integration at Gunter Maxwell AFB, AL. This comprises the Enterprise Logistics Super Portfolio which acquires, fields, delivers, and maintains maintenance and logistics readiness of management information systems delivering integrated logistics information that drives war-winning decisions by shaping, acquiring, and sustaining warfighting IT capabilities and mission support. This position supports AFLCMC/GB4X.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in:

  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs;
  • Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines and be able to recommend viable solutions to problems as well as the pursuit of alternative courses of action;
  • Abilities to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation, e.g., briefings, documents, and plans;
  • Abilities to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment;
  • Abilities to formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives;
  • Abilities to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports, e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR);
  • Abilities to support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews; and,
  • Abilities to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • Provides responsive and effective acquisition execution support across the Enterprise in the areas of portfolio management, acquisition and strategic communications support with timely tracking, tasking and quality control for Business Enterprise Systems (BES) Workflow information management system.

Job Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD

OR, bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD

OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.
