Job Summary
The Harrison College of Pharmacy is excited to recruit candidates for a Student Services Coordinator, who will provide varied and high level administration and coordinate projects in our Experiential Programs Office (EPO). This professional position will require a high degree of personal judgement and collaboration in coordinating complex academic project and program administration, with limited supervision.

Essential Functions
  • Provide administrative support for the EPO, coordination of Introductory Pharmacy Practice, Experiences (IPPE) courses, IPPE Population Health course, HCOP's Interprofessional Education Program, and HCOP's Co-Curriculum.
  • Participate in student mentoring program and serve as P4 student success liaison.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director and IPPE faculty coordinator to maintain and improve experiential program quality.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to provide preceptor development, recognition and engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate projects, programs and activities and provide services and/or advisement for the Director of Experiential Programs and Co-Curriculum, Director of Interprofessional Education, and Executive Director.
  • Demonstrate high degree of creativity, initiative, and critical thinking in dealing with conditions/situations not well defined in standard operating procedures.
  • Explore opportunities for grants which can enhance the HCOP experiential program.
  • Enter data into various databases/programs; manipulate data; run reports; and present data in various formats as requested.
  • Assist Executive Director of Experiential Programs with site visits/meetings as needed.
  • Assist with affiliation agreement processes managed by the EPO.
  • Assist with student compliance, issues, and questions.
  • Assist with student intern/extern licensure applications and documentation for Boards of Pharmacy.
  • Assist students with academic related issues such as (but not limited to) course selection, registration, licensure application, and/or University or college policy and procedures.
  • Assist with advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPE) rotations/reports/procedures to include but not be limited to affiliate faculty appointment processing.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in health professions or social services.

  • Level I - no experience required.
  • Level II - must have 2 years experience. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.

Substitutions allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience .
