Job Summary |
Auburn University Athletics is seeking candidates for Assistant Academic Counselor Intern (Athletics). Working within Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS), the primary focus of this position is to gain experience providing comprehensive academic support to collegiate level student-athletes. This position will work closely with Academic Counselors to track, monitor, forecast, and communicate regarding the academic progress of student-athletes for assigned sports. This is a term position that is expected to run from July 2023 to May 2024. The successful candidate will serve as part of a comprehensive team in Student-Athlete Support Services. SASS promotes, assists, and provides counsel to Auburn University student-athletes in the areas of academics and eligibility. Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department ofHuman Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus.
