Job Summary |
This is a 1-year limited term appointment. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds. The Department of Horticulture is seeking highly qualified applicants for Research Fellow. The successful candidate will be expected to help operate and develop Dr. Daniel Wells' research program in urban and controlled environment horticulture. Current program personnel include four M.S. students, one Ph.D. student, and two Research Associates. Dr. Wells is PI or Co-PI on three nationally-funded projects and manages a program called FoodU which is a teaching, outreach, and food production program that engages undergraduate and graduate students in the campus food system. Minimum Qualifications |
Education and Experience: Level I: PhD in Horticulture, Aquaculture, or a closely related field; no experience required. Level II: PhD in Horticulture, Aquaculture, or a closely related field and 2 years experience in research practices and protocols. Level III: PhD in Horticulture, Aquaculture, or a closely related field and 4 years experience in research practices and protocols. |
